Clancy Fraser is Melbourne based writer and actor who studied Drama at La Trobe University. Her acting credits include The Owl and Cat collective’s critically acclaimed show ‘Choice’ and The Bad Girl’s Club’s debut season of 'Blackout'. Her written works include black comedy 'Amnesia' (to be directed by the talented Hannah Smallman) Historical drama ‘The Last Romanov’ and ‘The Passage’; an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Hannah Smallman studied at The Central School of Speech and Drama in London, graduating with a B.A. (Hons) degree in Performance Art. Over the years Hannah has had the opportunity to work on a variety of productions including Yussef El Gundi's 'Back of The Throat'which won Timeout Magazines Critic's Choice Award. Whilst based in the U.K. she owned her own theatre company which gave her the chance to work on one of her favourite pieces of theatre: 'The Pillowman' by Martin Mcdonagh, which achieved critical and commercial success. Now calling Australia home, she will direct Short Straw's debut show Amnesia, teaming up with the talented Clancy Fraser for the first time.
