Creative team Short Straw is pleased to announce the upcoming season of their new original show The Mouse: a darkly twisted thriller from the mind of home grown talent Clancy Fraser. Spearheading the production is guest director Bianca Lyndon in what Short Straw hopes to be the first of many creative partnerships. She will be joined by a star studded cast to be announced in May 2018. Stay tuned for more updates!
Bianca Lyndon is a theatre maker based in Melbourne. She has been fortunate enough to spend her early career creating and directing alongside a talented and diverse group of creatives. Her directing credits include The Vagina Monologues, The Ugly One, At the Still Point (devised piece) and Bipolar Bear, which was performed at The Melbourne Fringe Festival. She spent 2017 working with arts organisation Wild at Heart, assisting with the creative development and execution of their dance/theatre performance piece ‘Breaking Boundaries’. Her most recent work includes writing and performing in the adaptation of August Strindberg's “The Ghost Sonata”. She is super excited for the opportunity to collaborate with Short Straw as director of The Mouse and looks forward to working alongside this very talented bunch.
